2017 Outdoor Cinema Series Announcement

Lexie’s Burger Bus will be joining us on 8/3, 8/10 and 8/24 as long as the weather is not rainy.

August 31st is the End of Summer Celebration with the Chicken BBQ and a performance from the Southern NH Ukulele Group all before the final movie of the season.

HERON, Historic Exeter Retail Owners Network, the local downtown merchants group is excited to announce the 2017 Outdooor Cinema Series on Swasey Parkway. The season kicks-off with a double feature on July 27th. Start the night at 6:00pm enjoying the sounds of The Kenney Brothers, the final performance of Exeter Park and Recreation Department’s Summer Concert Series.

The concert will run from 6-8pm. The night continues at dusk with a showing of The Secret Life of Pets on the big screen at dusk (approximately 8:20). As usual, the HERON group will be on hand with their fresh-popped popcorn and beverages.

Here is the complete 2017 Cinema Series line-up:

July 27             The Secret Life of Pets  (PG)

August 3          Beetlejuice  (PG)

August 10         Zootopia  (PG)

August 17         The BFG  (PG)

August 24        Beauty and the Beast – 2017  (PG)

August 31         Hidden Figures  (PG)

All movies start at dusk which will vary each week depending upon the day and the weather. The group suggests you arrive no later than 8:00pm early in August and no later than 7:30pm later in the month.

    1. Hi Lisa, The Town of Exeter does not allow dogs with the exception of service dogs in any of their parks. – Beth
