Welcome to Exeter Country Club, the Seacoast’s best nine.
Exeter Country Club, founded in 1889, is USGA-listed as one of the 100 oldest in the nation. Set into pine and hardwood forest at the edge of the impressive Great Bay estuarine system, Exeter’s historic course offers lush irrigated fairways, velvety greens and a fresh salt breeze throughout the season.
The course was updated during the 1950s by New England’s noted course designer, Manny Francis. Strategic placement of an auxiliary set of tees makes the 9-hole course into a fine 18-hole round.
Today you’ll find irrigated fairways, a challenging layout, impeccable greens and a fresh sea breeze–not to mention a welcoming staff, friendly members and the comfortable clubhouse.
While at the golf course, you also should check out the Grill on the Hill which features patio seating with a great view. The Grill also have a full bar, friendly service and banquet facilities.
Within walking distance of downtown and the local hotels and inns, the Exeter Country Club and the Grill on the Hill should not be missed.
